For the best view of Nuwara Eliya and its surroundings, climb up this hill which is about 3.9km from the Cottages. After a trek through the tea plantation and the mist-covered forest path, one reaches the top of this hill which has just one single tree at the top (hence the name).

An early morning walk is ideal for bird-watching enthusiasts as you may witness many endemic species along the way.
