Shrouded in a mythical fable, the Lovers’ Leap Waterfalls gains its name from a story about a handsome prince who fell in love with a beautiful peasant girl and their untimely deaths when they both jumped off the top of the waterfall hoping to be forever united in the eternal life after their love was met with opposition of the King and Queen.
